THE BLOWS This group is from Galicia, Spain but they live in Barcelona. Their type of music is between post-punk and post-rock . This project was a dream from two friends, who decided to start a music group; they started to compose with influence of the groups of their time (Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, The Libertines) and the classic rock groups, for example: The Velvet Underground or Television. In 2006 the group The Blows is created by: Roy Basanta (voice and guitar), Bruno Mosquera (guitar), Alex Lago (bass) and Alex Penido (drums). They started to be listened in the radio with their first demo but nowadays little by little their gun-sights are extended and begin to compose new songs that immediately return to sound in local clubs (La Iguana, La fábrica de chocolate, Playa Club) as authentic hits and their concerts begin to be real multitudinous parties. If they continue evolving as now, we will be talking about one of the best alternative bands in Spain.
